Georgia Southern was KILLER! Great band, great sound, great time. Chaos Theory sounded HUGE in the ballroom. It was a big week for music at GSU: Tom "Bones" Malone (Blues Brothers, Blood Sweat and Tears, Frank Zappa, etc.) was also there. He played a stirring rendition of "When a Man Loves a Woman" with the Symphonic Winds, and then sat in with the Jazz Band, soloing on no less than FIVE different instruments! Randall Coleman from Atlanta was also in attendance, masterfully directing an Honor Band program. It was excellent getting to know them, as well as the ensemble and Dr. Pittman. A fantastic experience!
