The Blog

This morning the American Composer's Orchestra in New York rehearsed HIP+NOW, as part of the 2004 Whitaker New Music Readings. It was very exciting for me to hear my new work for orchestra played through with such professionalism by these fantastic musicians, and I'm hoping this is the beginning of a successful and long life for this piece! My heartfelt thanks to the ACO, and to the guest conductor, Carl St. Clair.
