BCM International is a consortium of four composers who strive to create high-quality literature for all concert and educational mediums. While diverse in background and stylistic approach, we share a desire to enrich the repertoire with music unbound by traditional thought or idiomatic cliché.

Marathon Newman in Chicagoland: Addison Trail High School, Batavia High School, Naperville Central High School, Neuqua Valley High School, Oswego High School, Plainfield South High School, St. Charles East High School, Waubonsie Valley High School, Willowbrook High School ... all this week, all Avenue X, all the time. So far exhausting, but a total blast. After a whirlwind Monday, a huge thanks to Jim, John, Margene, Matt, and Josh, and all of the terrific students who played their hearts out at Batavia, Oswego, and Waubonsie. More clinics today, and two concerts tonight. That's right. Two, just tonight. 'Cause you can never have enough Avenue X....
