I will update later (when a little more sound of mind) about the Threnody World Premier today (5/13). Will also have photogenic proof that I am real, and Jim can vouch for me.
An excellent concert in west-central Wisconsin with collegiate and high school ensembles. I'm sure Doug Greenhalgh et al would be proud.
Until later, peace, love, and great music to you all. _________________ William Sakalaucks

Hey Bill - first, let me say I'm glad you were there. Second, I'm sorry we didn't have more time to talk. And last but far from least -- I'M SO SORRY I SPACED ON YOUR NAME!!! There was so much going on in my head at that time...
It was a profoundly emotional afternoon -- I think it was the most powerfully moving music concert I have ever been to in my life. It was just amazing to be a part of it. |

Not a problem on the name spacing, Jim. Get's me all the time.
Look forward to hearing that piece performed in the future. _________________ William Sakalaucks

Some pictures to satiate your curiousity.
Jim and I after the concert.
I only await Eric's, Steve's, and John's autographs.
I read Jim's blog entry this morning, and I think he put the best words for the concert.
All of the ensmbles played/sang well. You could tell that there was a lot of emotion put into the pieces.
So, I'll leave this for you to chew on. _________________ William Sakalaucks
