Austin, TX, baby. Longhorn country. I'm buying orange clothing ASAP.
Will be there by late August, though I'll be down that way briefly in May to scout for apartments, so if anyone's in the area and wants this stuff, I could potentially bring it down there, then.
Travis - e-mail me if you decide you're definitely interested.
Doug - I hate to sell a lot of this - it's great gear, but I'm traveling so much that it spends more time off than on. Besides that, I'm spending the summer in Europe, so it will just spend the summer sitting in storage (I know, I can feel everyone's sympathy). So, I'm selling all this stuff and moving to a brand new MacBook Pro - will use that as my studio machine in the future.
Anyway, it's hard to let such a hoss machine as the QuadG5 go, but it's obvious I'm just not going to get a chance to use it very much. Bummer. |

Steve, are we talking about this Yamaha mixer? If so, how much did you buy this for, and why is it so damn cheap?!
If there's no catch to this, I might have to splurge some of my savings on this immediately.
edit: looks like it's actually, probably this one. But out of curiosity still, what year did you buy this and how much was it originally? |

Todd, it's the latter, older model. I bought it in...1999, I think? Maybe 1998. I think I paid around $1300? The only problem I've had with it is occasional static on the right Master channel. I believe the fader is dirty - if I wiggle the fader it usually clears up. It hasn't happened in awhile, but just giving you a heads-up. Other than that, it's been absolutely perfect. The ADAT expansion card in the back is great to connect to the 2408s - makes for a completely digital 8 channel path into and out of the computer.
I don't have the original box, but have a well-padded one and the original manual. E-mail me privately if you decide you want it, and we'll work out the logistics. |

| I know this topic is deathly old, but man I'd kill for that E-Mu Proteus if you happen to have that baby lying around still! |

Feels like I should bump up the price, then...
Todd - yes, it's still available. The catch is that I won't be able to ship it until after August 17th. E-mail me and we can work out the details. |

No, that's perfect! I'm getting a house with my roommates in two weeks and my car broke down last night. Needless to say money isn't exactly a luxury at the moment . I'll email you mid-august. |
