How did the four of you actually come together? What's the story behind it all? (If the question has already been asked, guide me to it.)

Well I know that Eric, Newman, and Steve met at Julliard, but I've always wondered details about how they found Jim, I mean, I know they found him, but I don't ever remember them going into details. Like if they found him in a coffee shop, or if they found him curled up under a huge empty dinosaur egg. Maybe it has to do with the anonymity of the BCM title? Shocked

(I think that's my cue...)

I met Steve soon after he and Eric had finished grad programs at Juilliard (Newm had finished the year before) -- Steve was my girlfriend's friend's boyfriend's best friend... didja follow that? Put more simply -- I had just moved to New York City, and Steve was one of the first people I met when I moved there. When I got into USC, Steve told me I had to meet a friend of his out in LA named Eric...

I never met Newman until the concept of BCM was rolling along pretty well -- I'd heard alot about him but we didn't meet until we both were having pieces performed by the UNLV Wind Orchestra.

So Steve introduced me to Eric, and Eric hooked me up with my first concert band gig, and Newman convinced me not to throw Chaos Theory in the garbage, and the rest is history...

J.

The reasons behind the initials are a well-guarded secret... we've been trying to figure them out for a long time, but they don't want to tell us. Crying or Very sad

I'm still not sure of it...but if you need something absolute, you can make this as absolute as you want.

In light of "Redline," I would guess it stands for "Bryant's Complicated Music"...y'know, if BCM were just him and all.

How was Julliard as a college. Would you call it one of the best music departments around.. tell me more. I am most likely going to Wichita State University, but I sill need to look.
